Safia's goal is to create beautiful jewelry that brings out the simple elegance in women. She works primarily with natural materials semi-precious stones, rubies, sapphires and emeralds are a few favorites and makes pieces that have a slight ethnic influence. Trained at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Safia has been a Wardrobe Stylist for commercials and print for the past 15 years. Being a stylist, she has always been concerned with trends, and has a keen eye for what is hot and new. She launched her company after designing belts and jewelry for herself as well as a list of celebrity clients when store buyers began approaching her to purchase her unique pieces and carry her line. Born in Los Angeles, Safia is of Indian and Danish decent, and her multicultural background has been a strong influence on her work. She currently resides in Los Angeles and travels quite frequently, and it is her journeys around the globe that continue to inspire her designs.
